Iryna Mironenko was born in Kupyansk city, Kharkiv region in 1989. In 2006 she graduated from Kupyansk gymnasium No.1 and entered Physical department of V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University from which she graduated in 2011.

During 2011—2016 she worked as physics teacher at Kharkiv secondary school No.54. Since 2015 she is working in Physical department Dean's office. During 2016—2019 she worked at Experimental physics chair as 1st Grade Engineer on general laboratory workshop on optics.

During 2019—2023 she studied as postgraduate at Low temperature physics chair, the thesis subject was associated with the chair's area of research in the field of fundamental and applied solid state physics and physics of superconductivity.

During 2021—2022 she worked as senior lecturer at Low temperature physics chair. From February till June 2024 she worked as senior lecturer at Department of Higher Mathematics and Physics of the Faculty of 'Transportation process management' at Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport. Since November 2024 she works as associate professor at Physical optics chair.

In 2024 she successfully defended her thesis 'Kinetics of phonon and magnon transfer processes in heterogeneous nanostructures' for obta³n³ng the Doctor of Ph³losophy degree ³n Natural Sc³ences, Spec³al³ty 104 — Phys³cs and Astronomy at Low temperature physics chair, Physical department of V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University under supervision of V.A. Shklovskij.

Scientific interests: physics of hybrid nanostructures, physics of spintronic effects, researching the photonic processes in nanostructures.
